Vacationing After COVID-19

Are you excited to travel after the COVID-19 lockdown?  It is safe to say the way we travel and vacation will change dramatically. There is no escaping the future looks different than it did maybe six months ago. But that doesn't mean you need to forgo traveling or taking vacations; just adapt the way you do it.

As the world heals from the disruption and chaos caused by the coronavirus, everyone will be looking at how things can return to some sort of normalcy while still being safe.  For ourselves and for everyone else as well. So how can you continue to explore the world in the aftermath of the COVID-19 virus?

Camping

Get back to nature and look at spending a few nights under the stars and take in some of the natural and, quite frankly, breathtakingly beautiful scenery our country has to offer for everyone.

Camping means that you aren't reliant on a third party to provide your accommodation.  You can keep to yourself and ensure you abide by any social distancing measures that are in place in your chosen destination. As you eliminate most of the cost of accommodation for your trip, you can invest in some camping items that can enhance your trip further and allow you to be more self-sufficient. For cooking, you will want the best camping grill so you can still eat well, a cozy sleeping bag that protects you from the elements and provides some level of comfort as well as some top of the range camping chairs, so you don't have to sit on the ground all the time solely.

RV

A staple for many families is  hiring or even buying your own RV.  You can vacation on your own schedule, follow your own route, and above all, have all your home comforts right there with you wherever you choose to go.

All you need to do is book in advance for any overnight stopovers. You will be able to benefit from the luxury of being self-contained and eliminating the risk of coming into contact with others. RVs that can be hired will be cleaned between each rental period, but choosing to buy your own RV will give you that extra peace of mind that you are safe in your own little home away from home.

Holiday Rentals

If you are looking to avoid crowds and hotels for your next post lockdown vacation, options such as Airbnb can offer you a higher level of privacy as you stay in a self-contained property that will feel like you are at home. This will enable you to explore your chosen destination but avoid potential contamination from other holidaymakers, as you all set about enjoying your time away.

Holiday rental properties will be cleaned between lets. They will have to adhere to local regulations regarding social distancing and levels of hygiene to keep customers safe during their stay.

So as you venture out and begin to take vacations, be sure to keep safety top of mind.
